Neither carjackers nor rescue crews are shy about busting a window.
Wouldn't it be difficult for rescue workers to bust a tinted window?

not unless the tint sheet covers the frame around the window as well. All the tint sheet would do is keep the window from shattering into a million pieces. The glass would still shatter, though, and once it has lost its rigidity it could just be pushed in.

when it comes to someone opening the door and sticking a gun in alot of things could happen. they could jump in before you even get the chance to realize it. or they might just stand out side the door and point it in while telling you to give them whatever it is they want. if it was me and i noticed that they are just standing outside the car waiting for me to give them the money i would nail the throttle bc the body of the car would hit there arm (possibly) and knock the gun away so its not pointing at me. if they are leaning in the car with one hand on the seat but still standing on the black top even better. they sould fall get dragged a little bit and maybe drop the gun in the car and you could get finger prints. id rather do something that could make them not get a chance to shoot at me. if they are really going to shoot you know matter what they will just shoot you threw the window and then bust out the window open the door and take what they want. i guess what im saying is if someone wants something bad enough they will do whatever they have to in order to get it windows up or down doors locked or unlocked. sorry for rambling but its after 3 in the morning and im tired.

I'd love to add the auto-lock feature that would activate when the car starts moving.
I don't like that feature. My dad had several domestics that did that, and it always annoyed the piss outta me.

Takes 2 seconds longer to bust the window and open the door from inside vs. just pulling the handle. And if you are being jacked - you can use these 2 seconds...
And it takes NO additional time to shoot through the glass.
