Does anyone know if you can use a Pioneer P-Bus XM Receiver on the stock radio? I doubt Toyota would put a P-Bus connection on the stock radio, but i haven't pulled mine out yet.

I called PAC and SoundGate today and they are telling me to use the AUX-Box with a special cable from Toyota. However, this will only allow the XM to play through the AUX input of the stock radio, not control it.

I've got a GEX-901XM from a friend and would really hate to have to ditch it.

ANY IDEAS?

Ditch it.

Stock HU uses proprietatry data bus. So as of now it only works with Scion XM unit, which, btw, has recently dropped in price

So i noticed. It dropped like $200. Might actually be worth it now.

Check http://www.mcgeorgeparts.com or some other online parts websites - I think it's like $285 for the kit, or somewhre in that ballpark.
