I picked up my tC at Stuart Scion in FL, and it looks absolutley stunning... very impressed with the color, indigo ink. Drive it home, still gorgeous.

I'm driving to work, and stoping to make a right turn, and i see a puddle, go thru it and something happens, abs kicks in, funny i thought, ABS for a puddle do these tires suck that bad??? So i go park like 1/4 mile down the road at work and get out and theres oil dripping from the undercarrage and the wheel wells and im like oh SH*T!.

So i check my oil level in my engine and its OK, so im like whats up? wheres it leaking from? then i see my engine oil is nearly clear and this oil is black, so i start asking anyone if they drove thru some oil, im thinkin theres a oilspill and this kids says yea there was a bad accidnet there. So to wrap it up, i was relieved my engine was ok but pissed b/c now theres dirty nasty oil all over my brand new scion tC!!!!

The tC brakes eceptionaly in oil... Anyone know the best way to get oil off your ride?

Uhhh goo gone? Stuart Scion huh? Thats right on US 1 right? Near the Harley Place and such? I have relatives that live in stuart. I was just there in this past january. Beautilful area. I love the gardens! Anyways, yeah, i'd try either some bug and tar remover, goo gone, or even a degreasing dish detergent. Get that off as soon as possible though!
Congrats on your car man... sorry to hear about the oil thing..
Yeah i live just north of stuart in Port st Lucie, We should chill if you ever come down here frosty.
Definitely! I'll probably be down again after christmas this year. Its actually my girlfriend's relatives, but since we're getting engaged this winter (she doesn't know yet) they will be my relatives soon too! I love stuart. Publix, Sports Authority... that area rox. And just minutes from west palm beach! yeah, i'll definitely let you know when we come down again, cause i'm driving my tC when we go!

never, ever, ever use dish soap of any kind on your car! very bad!
If its diluted... its totally fine. I used to detail BMWs, they used it there...
