Hey guys, If anyone has an obx shift knob, one of the 3 offered as accessories please post a pic here. I would especially like to see it on a manual. I will be ordering one soon and I was curious how it looks. BTW, a manual tc is F-in fun to drive! I make excuses to drive my baby, I love it. =)

I like the grip. The mesh was a bit different at first, but now I love it. Very grippy.

Heh, a bit cold in the morning thogh when it is freezing out.
hehe, was going to ask you about the texture but you beat me to it. thanks for the info, i'm trying to decide which one to get for myself.
I've got the same knob, but without the mesh.
yeah, got the speed star myself. it is temperature sensitive, though. over the summer you could damn near use it to brand the OBX logo
into your palm, but the feel is nice. smooth and cool, like glass.
my issue with the mesh one is dirt and sweat finding ints way into the mesh housing and collecting there. being borderline OCD makes me cringe at the thought of thousands of miles worth of skin cells, sweat, and dirt under my hand every time i shift. i would have to carry more hand wipes.
Neh, sweat and grunge just make it more 'grippy'.

eewwwwww.
2 words: hand sanitizer.
I got the mesh one too, does your center plate spin around if you move it. Should I screw the 5 allen bolts down to hold it in position??
well i finally got mine... check it out:

There was salt on the glass, BIG grains of salt."[/b]
Awesome!!!

Yes, you should tighten the center cap down. It is meant to be moved so the "OBX" is facing in the correct direction, then tightened up.
is the obx logo supposed to be adjustable? cuz i take out all the screws and that cap just wont budge
Yep, it is supposed to be able to move so you can position it.
dunno about you guys but I like the OBX classic Leather knob. Stick with the classics. What do you guys think of it?

I don't know about the classic leather knob. Not really into that design. That mesh one i was thinking of getting, but my friend who was going to get it for me wanted me to be sure that it was the one i really wanted. Most other shift knobs that i have looked at aren't low enough or covers the tip of the shift boot like obx does. But that mesh does look sweet. thinking of getting that one now. thanks for the pic man.
