Well before buying my 06 TC, the 06 eclipse was one of the cars i test drove. I went to a local mitsubishi dealer and test drove a silver 06 eclipse. We get in, go for a drive (about 6 miles) and come back. During the test drive i noticed all three mirrors on the car vibrating all the time. Everything in the mirrors were fuzzy and blurry due to the vibration. I go to put the windows down and they dont work. The guy says there not broke and that the lock is stuck on it and can be fixed in 2 seconds. BS. The motor sounded dead like it was struggeling. Well i said, okay then, went back to the dealership, open the door, then go to close it and the mirror on the driver side falls half way off
. I didnt even shut the door hard. I just closed it. I was like, wow, thats why it was vibrating and the thing just finally came off. I was just waiting for the other two to fall off. I was like wow, im done here. In the end i got the TC. Now it might of just been a factory screw up on that car, but dang, the thing just fell right off half way. I was laughing. Even the window on driver side was virtually dead. Good quality on that one car. Now i know why it depreciates $11,000 after 2 years. Hopefully for mitsubishi it was just a freak accident and someone in the factory was slacking.
