New Car Update

Some of you here had asked for an update on my quest to get a new tC, and here's the latest from the field:

I called the sales rep at the dealership over the weekend and told him that I was ready to order, but I wanted to know if I would get a specific delivery date for the car. He put me on hold and came back to say that it would take 30-45 days to get the vehicle. When I test drove the car he said 2-3 weeks ... big difference!

I have now decided to wait a couple of weeks until i have more cash in hand, and I'm going to find one on a lot, probably in Louisville, which has a couple of dealers who keep tCs on their lots most of the time.

I'm still fired up about getting my tC, but I'm just going to have to work harder to satisfy this Instant Gratification problem that I'm cursed with!

Cool man... its nice that you have such self control about getting your tC. Most of us would have jumped at placing the order... wait we did do that... lol

I put a deposit down even before I test drove one...

Good luck... don't let them try to sell you a color you don't want...

I got the phone call from my dealer this weekend, she told me my tc (flint mica, man tran) was entering port on the 17th and will be ready to pick up on the 23rd-24th.

the wait is almost over! I've been pretty patient so its really not that bad of a wait.

Congrats on the news! The flint mica paint looks WAY better in person than it does in pictures...

I agree... the flint mica is very very nice... especially in the sun. It does look like a muted gray when its cloudy outside though... but overall its a great color choice.
Congrats!

Great choices...the 6-disc changer is a total rip-off in my opinion...

I work for the government, too. So, do you come in at 9:45 and leave at 3:30 like most other government employees?
