I have a Alpine MRP-F240. Trying to wire it to Crossovers in the front and 2-way's in the back. I have Greg's add an amp kit. The directions are a bit confusing. How do I wire this just go direct to channel 1-2 and only use those speaker terminals or use all 8 terminals. The manual only shows a setup with 4 pre-outs from a H/U. Anyone understand what I'm asking?? If so please help me out I'd like to button this up by tomorrow. Thanks

Well the system is in sans Sub. I tried to tune my amps last night and got it sounding real good....but....there is always a but. I think I did it a little wrong. I do not have the tools to do this the proper way so I'm just kind of guesstimating. I put all the sound to the rear speakers and "tuned the amp" then pushed it all to the front and did the same. Was laying on the couch last night and it occured to me that was pretty stupid. I am thinking I should have left it in the center and disconnected the other amp while tuning one since that is how I will probably be listening to it. Any input here would be helpful. Thanks

Oh yeah I broke down and got a H/U so I have a add an amp kit from Greg if anyone needs one. I'll sell it for a bud light or maybe a Belvedere Martini 3 olives.

Well I couldn't just let it go...went out and installed a ported Type-S last night. Where I need a little help is in the tuning. I've read all the literature on this but the one thing I cant find is where the H/U eq should be. Is it best to tune the amp on a flat setting and then customize the settings to your liking? Or should I pick the setting I find most applicable to my music interests and then tune the amp? I do not have access to an ociliscope(sp?) so I will be doing this by ear until I find it pleasing to me. Any input?
