So I am going to add a dc sports dc1 strut tower bar to my 2013 scion tc. I was inspecting the engine bay and I noticed this wire. It looks like a ground wire. I can't really tell where it is coming from but it is connected to the front right strut mount.

I've looked at other scions and I didn't see the same wire connected to the strut and a Google search had only told me that it could be for traction control, abs, and or Stereo.

Does anyone have any clue as to what it could be?

Share a photo if you can. We'll be working on uncle's new 2013 Scion tC project soon after we finished installing the suspension and black rhino wheels for suvs on the current Ford Explorer project. I'll check if it also got a wire coming from the front strut.

Thanks for the reply Fred. I will take a picture today of the wire and where it seems to be coming from. Thanks

Excuse the filthy engine bay. That's my next project.

But the first pic is the entire wire from end to end. And the next 2 are the two spots where it is mounted. I'm not an expert my seems to be connected above the starter or alternator.

Any clue what this may be.
