At first I was going to put my money on the tC, but then I saw the tires he was running and eehhhh... That skinnier tire is going to be what hurts your time. Now if you both had stock tires... drivers race. But I'm leaning towards the rally

well, the car is underrated so it has more like 170+ hp at the crank, and it weighs less than 2900lbs. keep trying, you guys haven't been able to get the hp and weight of my car right yet.
put it this way, i put out a little more than 10 hp @ the wheels than a tc and i weigh like 100lbs less, that might explain why i don't have a problem beating up on stock tc's. injen tc has been the only tc that has even come close to hangin with me. and i still pulled. so you guys do the math. i'm gonna see if my friends slicks fit my car also and if they do, i'm gonna try for 14's while my car is still stock. i know that if i can cut a 1.8/1.9 60ft. that a 14sec quarter mile will happen. if you don't believe me, that would make 2 things that i have to prove, that i can beat his modded tc and that a stock Ralliart can run 14s.
by the way, here is the poll count for today, it's thursday now here in guam:

i dont know that i would call it beating up on them. i mean, at the end of 12 rounds, one guy might be down, but if they are both bleeding out of their eyes, i dont think one person gets to say they beat up on the other. a marginal victory is just that. still a victory, but not an ass-kicking. that would be me or zoltiz running against you.
and, you still have my vote over the stock tC.

I never imagined a discussion about two slow cars could be so intense. Yes, I said it, they're both slow cars, and please let's not start the discussion about bang for buck, you can't win that one either. For far less money than I have in my tC, I could have bought a used F-Body, done heads and cams, and been in the 12's.
What's the big deal here, is there some kind of prize for this or is it just bragging rights?

now lance, dont rain on people's parade just because you dont want to be in it.
people race in all sorts of classes, not all of them run super fast. the 510 club does track days, and they arent exactly all blowing the doors off as they go down the strip. people race what they own, what they like. and there is a class for everyone.
no one really thinks that 136.38mph is all that fast for a top speed, and sure there are guys running 300mph plus in super modified cars right next to the one who did 136.38, but 136.38 is the record in the modified roadster class at bonneville.
and really, when isnt it about bragging rights? the boys and girls at bonneville dont win cash or prizes. and they spend 10's of thousands of dollars on their cars.

I totally get that D, you know I do, but 5 different forums? I'm just wondering what's at stake here. I've seen some pretty sick challenges, and I've seen 10's of thousands of dollars change hands on a win/lose. I'm just trying to figure out what the big deal is in this case. Maybe Ralliartist and injen_tC have dorm bitch duty coming up and the loser takes both weeks. I dunno. Just seems mighty heated for a simple race.

heated? na, we've been friends since we got here in guam. we are just trying to make this kind of a big event so that more people will be interested in stuff that happens at the drag strip here on guam, you know, kind of like advertisement. to be honest, there isn't really much that does happen here on guam. so this is like a highlight of the month kind of thing. and i put it on 5 forums being that it's on 2 ralliart forums, 2 tc forums, and our local forums. i was curious as to how different forums with different people would react. so far, the only forum that has me as the victor is evom.net! the other ralliart forum is picking the tc.
none of this is beef or anything. neither of us live in the dorm either. we are both married with 2 kids each. we're just bored on this island in the middle of the pacific and looking for excitement. we both can't wait to get back to the states so that we won't have to spend so much time on the internet. lol. anyways, quit your bitching and just enjoy a good race match.

u say u kill stock tC's???...I bet I take u from a dig...maybe the tC's u raced dont know how to drive their cars...I can shift my ride perfectly...
Also about u breaking 14's with slicks is impossible if youre all stock....that means no strip, no parts which u will not be able to hit 14's gaurantee......My cousin has a 2000 stock prelude SH and ran street slicks and only managed 15.2....So youre saying a ralliart with full slicks can beat a prelude SH with streetslicks???...

By august i will have none of your altezzas cause ill be Turboed by then. so Woopsie on your part so how much of a drivers race will that be let me think none. it will be my tC every wich way you look. Ill even let you race my friends lil civic wait NM he rins mid 13's ok you can race his MR2 wait it will be turboed by then. So looks like aug is going to be too late that stinks but ill give you a ride in it if you want how does that sounds as a compromise? Just makeing a nother comeback i just like talking #### some times and since we both know we are just fu(king around its cool.

Ralliartist you work on the B.U.F.F. I see. What do you do on it. I work on the Lawn dart yea thats right the F-16 i am a crew chief so what do you do?
Also my Dad was stationed at Anderson back in Vietnam He worked fire controll on the Aft turit back when they had the big 50 Cals there. I bet you have worked on some of the B-52's he worked on. Also have you seen the SAC prowler any where on those Hogs i bet you have well any ways i am done talking Air Force for now i just pulled a 15 hour shift due to landing gear problems on my jet so i am tierd and need sleep later guys.

na, i don't work on the BUFF's. that's just a monument in Arc Light Park. i am fuel guy. i've fueled plenty of them tho. i know all about those 15hour/18hour shifts. i'm working one right now. oh well, gotta do what you gotta do right? what base you stationed at?
