well raliartist why not you guys just have some runs on the streets to decide which is a quicker car on the streets instead of waiting for track day...Try highway racing and see who pulls on whom....let us know results...

excuses excuses. i pulled on him everytime, i wasn't going to say anything about it. but since it's been brought up now, we did 4 races from a 20 roll. i pulled him everytime. we would stop a little past 90. he was pullin back in 4th. but what's the point of racing past 90/100 if you don't even trap that in the 1320? we went from a stop once and i got him on the launch but he just about threw 2nd gear outta the tranny. at least that's what it sounded like. lol. anyways, the track is legit and will be on vid. we will edit the vid and make it pretty bad ass. just wait till race day. it's only a week and a half away now.

EXCUSE! Not even, how could we be doing 80-90 when i never made it into 4th except for one time.. That was the time I started pulling and Ralli hit the brakes and said " he doesnt wanna get pulled over". There was only the cars on the road at 3 in the moring...me,him, and a buddy following us. Isnt that true, ralli?

i was at 90. maybe you weren't, but i was. maybe that's why i was in front of you. i know i was in 4th and was in it longer than i usually am when racing down the 1320. i barely get into 4th at the strip. but i was over 90 several of those times that night.

okay Ive changed opinion...I see that now the ralliartist is a better driver since Injen_tc missed a few shifts in the couple of races...At the track youre more likely to miss shifts anyways...so it all comes down to driver...Im leaning towards the lancer now OOOO

I've missed 2nd gear that night, but never before that when I raced on the streets. As far as the track, this will be my second time at the track. The first time.. I started with a 16.3 on my first run but soon dropped down to a best of 16.04. My problem that night ofcourse when launching, not shifting. A friend of mine wanted to try out the tC, and was able to bring it down to a 15.8. So I now know it can be done, I just have to work on lauching. I wish the time slip worked that night so I would know my reaction times and so on...but it wasnt
Alot of minor things that I didnt do on the first try, will be done on the 30th..so we will see what happens!

yeah, launching for a good time isn't easy. you dont get it right your first day. or your second, so i hope you are practicing.

still, my money is on the artist.

Since the beginning of this thread I've been concerned with Injen's ability to drive his car. A tC with I/H/E should pretty easily beat a stock ralliart. Carpoint says a stock ralliart does a 15.83 1/4mi. That's slower than a stock tC. Injen should be running 15.3-15.5 pretty easily in his tC.

tC's were ranked at 15.7 stock but when they ran that time of 15.7, they had aem CAI and trd exhaust...so its more like 15.8 also...but its true about what u said

Right, but if one of these guys is a 270 lb lineman and the other is a 125 lb pencil neck geek, there's going to be a big weight advantage.
A lot of the time, it's such a great thing I weigh just 165lb.

And I've seen lots of timeslips showing 15.6 for stock tC's. The 15.7 time seems to be pretty accurate for an experienced driver though.

I'm sure ralliartist could show us 10 timeslips of stock Ralliarts doing the 1.4mi in 15.6 as well, but I'll bet there are a lot more people running 15.8's

ok, i'm not going to get in to this whole little war about my car is better than yours. both the ralliart and the tC are in the same class of cars. my car is still bone stock and i bet you all my money that i run really close to a mid 15 this time out. and that is close to .5 sec slower than what i would run in the states. i have seen stock ralliarts run on AVERAGE of 15.3/15.4 and i've seen a stock ralliart with better tires than these ####ty goodyear eagle rs-a's all seasons break into the 14's stock. call bs if you want but the car can do it. my car is equal to the spec-v. that's a drivers race stock. i'm not trying to brag, but i walk away from stock tc's rather easily. maybe they don't know how to drive, but that would make a lot of people on this island bad drivers cause there is a whole lot of tc's.

anyways, our track is also unprepped. no vht. so launching on street tires really is an art. i'm getting pretty good at it but injen tc is still learning. it will be a really good race, i can promise you that.

blue tc or whatever your name is, i'm from sc and i leave here in aug. when i get back i will be more than happy to race your tc and you can even take a picture of my altezzas as walk away from you. lol. i'm not trying to start anything, just making a comeback. lol. anyways, i'm at work so i gotta go.
