Yeah, the tires are small and a bad size for a tC. But for $400 not a bad deal, knowing I bought from someone that only had them for a month and a half. I just bought them on Friday! I wont be running these tires too long, I plan on upgrading them after I throw lowering spring on it in about 3 weeks.
Who is your speedometer doing?? lol Nice rims by the way!!

so, keep the thoughts coming! take your pic, tC or RALLIART? who's got the edge?
With those little tires, he's got a clear edge on gearing, but with only 205 width, it'll be hard to take advantage of it without spinning. I give advantage to the Mitsu until the tire issue is resolved.

Yeah, those narrow tires are gonna hurt the tC.

Ralliart, but only because the tires. Going to loose alot of grip through 1st, when the tC needs it most.

ok, so far we got the ralliart with 3 votes and the tC with 1 vote. looks like the tC is gonna be the underdog on this forum. we'll see on race day!!!

EDIT: i added a poll so i don't have to keep up with votes. the poll will last thru race day and then close.

$400 for tires that are the wrong size? That'd doesn't sound like a good deal at all.

We know how bad the OEM tires are, but putting on a tire that is way too small regardless of price, makes no sense. I could almost see it if they were 205/45s but 205/40s? That's tiny. +1 for the Ralliart.

interesting. my friend has a black 2004 ralliart and i have a sw 2005 tC. we've actually raced twice around a year ago. both our cars were all stock and auto. the first time we raced we were rolling at 45 down at beach blvd where the speed limit is 50. we both counted down to 3 and he punched his car, while i didnt punch that much just to see how fast his car really is. our next race was a couple of days after at st. johns bluff rolling at 30 where the speed limit is 45. this is time he counted down to 3 and we both pushed it. we were actually neck in neck. no car ever moved an inch faster than the other. we both let off the gas around 65. so ya, it is a driver's race. dont know if that helped you guys, but i just wanted to share that. good luck at the track on the 30th.

i'm not really sure what to say about your post except that maybe your auto tranny has way better gearing or that the auto ralliart is just a dog because of way less power output. other than that, that was not the outcome when i raced him and he was stock. anyways, here's an update on the polls for you guys:

tc-(50)
RA-(29)

looks like i've gained a few votes on him but nothing close to his vote count. i'll keep you updated and thanks for the replies!!!
