How did you know it was v6 mazda 6. Even if it was good race. 2 car lenght is nothing comparing the 60 hp more.
yea, but 3415 lbs suddenly seems featherweight once you're pushing 1000hp, ya know?Originally posted by lo bux racer@Jul 18 2005, 08:16 PM
Good grief that weighs more than a Supra, and they are fat pigs for weight at 3415 lbs (hardtop 6 speed, actual measured weight).
Are we talking about the mazdaspeed protege? Because those are capable low 15 second cars....It's possible to beat one, but with a good driver, I don't see that happening.Originally posted by bLAziN_ChEnGy@Jul 28 2005, 09:28 PM
FACTS-Mazda sucks, the only true racer mazda has is the rx-7 turbo...All other mazdas are in the high 14's (rx-8) and even still 15's when theyre turbocharged...I personally think mazda needs some work on their cars...Mazda=American made...I raced a mazdaspeed protege w/BOV, exhaust and who knows what else and still was able to beat him 1st-2nd gear and when he beat me he never even had a car length on me at speeds above 80 mph...Im all stock also...
Indeed. And sometimes, in my opinion, raw performance numbers aren't everything. Of course, they DO contribute to the driving feel, but what some people fail to realize is the actual driving experience itself. Certain cars may not be the fastest nor the fastest in a track, but it's quite possible that they could be a lot more fun to drive than "better" performing cars.Originally posted by lo bux racer@Jul 29 2005, 08:23 PM
Miatas are legendary. Great handling little car, all the stuff you want right from the factory. Double wishbone suspension on all four corners, rear drive, everything the way it needs to be to go fast without problems.
There are lots of other Mazdas besides the FD that are decent cars.
