i htink you should let a body shop handle it. why didnt you just order it from scion deirectly
Assuming you're talking about a spoiler, I did mine myself, and I highly recommend paying a professional to do it.
i htink hes talkin about the kit for 995
yeah, i think so too. the install on the lip kit isnt too terribly hard, but you have to be real confident when drilling holes in your new car. step one in the process is "remove front bumber". anything that starts that way is going to take some time, i assure you. be slow and careful, and you can do it. unless you have any reservations. then take marty's advice and pay a pro.

i am right there with you on the spoiler issue, marty. takes balls to drill through your hatch. i was crossing my fingers that we had mapped it out right when we did mine.

Scary, scary stuff. Not something I would usually expect out of myself, given my almost complete lack of experience working on cars. Sometimes it's good to experience new things, though...just perhaps not on my brand new car next time.
i think we should do all drilling experiments on jake's ride.
Better than on my mom.
yeah-i was talking about doing the rear lip spoiler. dealerships are charging like $380 for it plus tax which in NY State is 8.75% which pushes the price to like $415. I got the spoiler and kit for $270. figured even if i had to get a body shop to do it it'd be less than $415.
oo ok my bad, what part of ny are u in?
