Just wanting some opinions

My roommates father owns a body shop and has been aching to tear apart my new tC.

Since the spoiler options are such slim picking, he was wanting to make a modified wing. He is thinking about using a wing off an MR2 since the angles of the ends are similar.

I kinda like they way it looks since its pretty radical. Just wanted everyone elses thoughts.

Thanks

A wing used on any car that doesn't exceed 200 mph is wrong IMO.
almost agree with wolo, just that it's not "wrong" but "stupid"*

*no offence, CS_18M... i do think it's just looking stupid...
the tc doesn't look good with a wing type spoiler. the pedestal spoiler is proof.
Why don't you get the one designed for the tc on that site? That is what I bought. Haven't gotten it yet, but it looks promissing.

Oh, and I happen to like spoilers on cars (if tasteful)

All the pedestal spoiler is proof of is that the pedestal spoiler is ugly.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't a wing only good on rear wheel drive cars?

The function of a wing is to generate down force to help with traction on the drive wheels. Along with this down force they also produce drag. So on a front wheel drive car are they doing as much (any?) good as they would on a rear wheel drive? And at the same time they are still generating drag.
Spoilers do no good whatsoever on 99% of vehicles of any kind, and are totally worthless in ANY car doing anything close to legal street driving.
I personally think the Tc's lines look the smoothest without a spoiler of any sort.
