apparently everyone is miss understanding what im saying a little bit. im not trying to sound like i approve of street raceing in town or in traffic im just saying that it happens. it actually causes alot less accidents then regular driveing accidents. the only reason people make such a big deal out of it is bc of the fact that it was racing. i know of an accident that happened on interstate 70 less than a year ago involving an ambulance. the ambulance was heading for the hospital with a pregnant mother in the back when all of a sudden the ambulance crossed the middle of the interstate into oncomeing traffic and caused a really bad accident. the driver of the ambulance was killed. bad accidents happen to everybody under some type of unfortunate situation. no accident ending in a death is fortunate. i just dont think that we need to hear everytime someone posts a toppic talking about how they got in a race in town. people either no how to be responsible about it or they dont. its just sometimes they dont find out that they dont know how to be responsible about it until its too late.
What you want people to say?

"Congratulations, your a dumbass!"

Seriously though. This is a forum. IE: people speak their minds. Maybe we should make rules requesting people not talk about president bush. Or iraq. No posting your opinion about porno, crash test dummies, no opinions about guns or videogames or lollypops or soda-pop. No talking about your opinion about anything, because someone doesnt want to hear it, but might read it accidently and get offended.

What a typical american attitude. All this bullsh*t and bitching about "oh dear, i've been offended!" Seems to be the trend lately, no one thinks anyone should ever be faced with anything they find even remotely offensive/inane/pointless/etc. Newsflash... the constitution does not protect you against being offended.

I'm gonna stop there.

Aw come on. Did you have to spoil the fun? Did somebody get hurt? I though we were playing pretty nicely...Besides, I have a story to tell to reply to Oliver Thomas!

[EDIT] Fix your sig D, were 2555 miles from Maita to the hotel. two triple nickel! [/EDIT]
*shrugs. Like I said, and obviously was mis-understood, if you don't want to hear it/see it, don't listen to it/read it. That was the gist of it anyway. My point was that to create a post (a first post from a new member not to mention) about how he doesn't want to hear anyone say anything about how irresponcible it is to go screaming down a crowded highway is kind of representative of a growing american assumption that no one should have to censor their own lives. People seem to not want to have to make any choices about anything anymore about what they listen to or read. Give me a break.

I'm way to young to be so cynical, but there it is.

ANYWAY.

Lance was about to grace us with a story for the books.

So i'll say again, see if we can get him to spill...

WTF Lance?

i dont want to read about oprah, so i dont open her magazine. i get what our new friend (if you guys havent scared him away) is saying. and i agree.
Wait a sec. What our "new friend" is saying (unless i'm WAY out in left field) is not that people shouldn't post about racing. He's saying that he doesnt' want anyone to post that it's irresponcible. We're all saying its fine to talk about it, but he is saying he doesnt want to deal with anyone being "fatherly" by stating the obvious about racing on the streets.

He's saying he wants to read Oprah, but doesnt want to have anything presented to him inside that magazine that goes against his grain.

eh, geeze. why do i get into these things. Someone tell me to STFU.

Damn. Glad it taught you something at least. Would be a bigger shame if you had just brushed it off.
