I went once 11 years ago, then once again the year later.

I really enjoyed it, and actually made it down a black diamond run (of course, gravity did most of the work). I just never made it back. Maybe this winter...

Blew out my back playing basketball (and tore a hamstring, dislocated a shoulder, broke fingers and toes, and chipped a tooth).

But I went unscathed on skis.

The black diamond run I made it down was by complete accident. I had been running greens all day (and they were just challenging enough). My GFs sister said I was doing great and invited me up to the blue run with her. I proceeded to get my ass kicked on the blue (very icy conditions and I couldn't turn). I finally got the hang of it after a while and was following her down the mountain (I was about 20 yards behind).

Then she take a fork towards the black diamond run. I had no idea where I was and how to find my group later, so I bit the bullet and followed her down.

No, the moguls gave me extra "umph" every time I cursed. I'm sure it was funny to watch.

I launched into the moguls like I was a stunt double for John Cusack in Better Off Dead.
