Well, I 've only had the car for one week...
I love it. No problems at all.
A few complaints though.
The CD player (an easy fix later). Scion did a great job with adding the audio conrols in the steering wheel for the '06. The Pioneer deck BADLY needs a volume control knob. Constant hitting or holding the +/- buttons to change the volume can be trouble. I'm glad it has a mute button though. I can't seem to locate a "pause" button for the CD player yet, I don't thing one exists.
Other than that, I have no other complaints. Some reviews have said that the doors were too heavy, the luggage compartment doesn't hold jack...etc.
Let's not forget that the tC is a hatchback!
I didn't buy the car for trunk space and a lot of room. I bought it for the exceptional value, Toyota quality, and the amazingly fun drive. All of these tied in with the price, this car is for anyone looking for the most bang for the buck.
Being 21, most of us "Generation Y'ers" don't have a ton of money to buy a new car. Most of us are concerned about where we are going in life, and how we are going to pay our next bill. With that, Toyota's Marketing strategy with Scion ™ is a fresh breath of air for us young people. "Pure pricing", and it's "No-haggle" stance is just what we as twenty somethings are looking for. We may be young but we are not stupid.
Anyway, I'll get off my soapbox.
To answer your question, no problems.
I LOVE THIS CAR!
