Seriously though, the tC is a great car......but dont forget its a 4-cyl hauling around 3000+ lbs. Sometimes it will feel fast/slow depending on the traffic and your mood, seriously it sounds weird but its the truth!
Is it just me or is the car really
i know the car is kinda heavy... but i think the rpm just goes up really fast... always had to shift really quick just to move forward nicely with the traffic in a 40 mph road, coming from a traffic light stop (kinda like 3rd gear in 5 seconds... especially when there's a m*therF00kin SUV at my back...) i'm no auto expert... but i think something's not right... i hope it's just me...

if you have the manual, the gear ratio is different then that of the automatic, and is tuned more towards performance as opposed to fuel economy, that is why the shifts are shorter. Correct me if i'm wrong.Originally posted by JackerCrack@Aug 2 2004, 04:46 PM

yeah, yeah, yeah, you guys are right... i guessed i was just expecting way too much... got used to driving a v6 camry and a v6 century for the past 3 years, both automatic... last time i drove a manual was way back in 1999... and tcrazy was right that it sometimes depend on the mood... i had a nice mood today... not much rush on a tuesday... everything went smooth... i give up...
