you can update your iPod from apple here. (the mini is the top right hand icon)

my 4gig mini works just fine, update the firmware and that will probably solve all your issues... are you on a mac or pc? im not sure if that would make a difference or not, but im on a pc and havent had any issues...

yea, double check the cord in the center console cubby in the arm-rest... if its all the way in, i would take it back to the dealer cause it might not be wired/plugged in correctly

does it work with other iPods or have you tried that?

nope, in order to use the iPod connector, you need to have the iPod enabled HU... otherwise, just connect a normal male-male headphone cord to the iPod and the AUX jack in the cubby... thats the only way to do it with the stock HU

my suggestion, get the iPod HU since it will charge your iPod while playing... chk out trdsparks for prices (if ken has it that is)

ok, but do you have the iPod head unit (there is a difference... the Stock non-iPod HU doesnt have a knob on the right side for the multi-selector, just buttons, the iPod ready HU has knobs on both sides) *snicker, i said "knobs" rofl

back to buisness, anyway make sure thats the case, if it is, either the cable for the cubby is bad (the one that has the wierd rectangular end and the iPod connector end) or your iPod isnt working properly and check with apple...
