Just installed my Injen today, and WOW. It sounds soooo much better than it did on those videos. Its a bit loud but ill live. And the damn box didn't bring instructions like it was suppose to so i had to do some common sense work, but being my first mod for my first car i coudn't be happier ( unless it gave me HPx999999). Quick question though, theres just a little bit of a smell coming from the exhaust sometimes. Is it becuase its knew, or do i need to tighten the bolts more?

Edit: It came with a metal piece that I assumed went between the too pipes that i had to connect. I put the flatter piece facing the back of my car, did i guess right?
Oh and im gona get install pics and two clips up when i get a chance. Ill get pics up soon and if someone knows where i can upload videos ill put up the two clips i took.

Yea i used the jack to up the right side of the car. And, in real life it sounds much deeper. I actually used my digital camera to take the clip.

Yea the smell is gone, i guess it was just becuase it was new. Oh and no prob. about the clips. I had to be careful going over specific speed bumbs becuase i just about scratched the dade piping under the car! But im lovin this exhaust!!

Ive riddin over tons of speedbumbs at pretty decent speeds already and havnt scraped. However, there is a certain neighborhood that has the most horrendous F***ing speedbumps of life and my passengers in the back seat ( i had 3 ) said they felt a scrape when I went over the bump to fast. But i was back under my car again today, and i didn't see any scratches. So nope, no scraping issues.

Im not sure, maybe its all in my head but it does seem a bit not as loud than when I first installed it. Im prob. just gettin used to it though. Oh and honeslty, the only three exhaust systems i like for the tc are the trd, injen, and magnaflow. I don't think the injen looks ricer becuase theres not that big of a difference in looks, you have to actually look under the car or get down on one knee to see it as "big".

Yea, getting the stock exhaust off was the hard part. Honestly, if you take your time, and i mean really take your time, you can still get done in about an hour.
