I'm thinking to sell now my 7998 to buy in a few months the new W200 but I don't know if the new unit will fit in my car.
Can you help me to know how Alpine did the W200 chassis?
I'm explain my problem: my car (a BMW 3er) has double din space, but the lower din is not full-depth. So I'd like to know if the W200 is a full depth double din form or it is a turned L form size (full depth in the upper din, low depth in the lower din).

Thank you

It is a double-din. See here for the link to Alpine's site.

Edit: The tC is a model of Scion, a USA only mark of Toyota Motor Company.
