I miss going to the 500. My family had tickets there on the front stretch (Tower Terrace) for about 20 years. When Tony George decided to screw up open wheel racing in America, I stuck with CART and didn't go back to the Speedway.
When Penske (the team I've supported for years) went to the IRL, I followed suit, but I still find CART's old philosophy of diverse tracks (temporary road courses, permanent road courses, short ovals, and super speedways) to be the best. This whole left-turn only garbage that happens in NASCAR and the IRL (the token road courses are just that) gets old after a while.
