idle speed vibration

ok i'm a noob. i admit it (search function-exempt). but is the car supposed to vibrate this much at idle? it stays at around 750. >8000 miles already. i'm guessing maybe it's the kind of gasoline i use (87 hess or mobil). the car feels like a freakin' massage tool.

It's a four. They do that, especially big fours like a 2.4 liter. No escape, it's just par for the course.
oh yeah i remember i came across here somewhere where you pointed balance differences between v6's and v8's. but, how is this gonna be in a long term scenario... i hope it won't get worse.

how's your car, does it do the same?
I remember my auto Matrix (also I-4) vibrating way more than 5-speed tC. But that only goes when I'm at a light - neutral in 5-speed, or in drive on auto. Moving auto to neutral would usually get rid of vibration.
with my stereo on, i'd never notice if the engine was causing vibrations

Both of them. It won't get worse.
