Hey guys,

Well after 4 hours of working on this I got my amp and head unit installed mostly.
Wires came out beautiful, they only show for a inch in one spot (there you follow the runnder and then you cross over by the seat belt bolt) but anyhow after screwing around with the chasey for like a hour due to the lack of instructions i got the JVC unit installed but how I cannot put the dash part back on because the door for the HU is hitting somewhere,

Is this a matter of just moving around the hu to accomodate or can you not have the door for the hu if its after market?

exactly, what i did, was i marked where i wanted the head unit holes to be on the factory brackets, then i removied it all and drilled the new holes.....works perfect, and door closes

you can by a kit now from crutchfeild or metra and it fits perfectg just got done installing mine. just remeber why cut when you can spend ten dollars. also try keepint the door shut when you put that peace back on or it will hit and not fit back on.

^^^same here, i got the kit from crutchfield and now the door works better than it did before i put it in!
