How to post pics

I'm going to want to post some pics next week and all I've found is that IMG button. I'm not sure what to do with it, so an explanation would sure be appreciated.

Ok... you need to host your pictures somewhere first...

Read the following thread to find out how to host pictures. http://www.yoursciontc.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=172

Then you will need to copy the URL that the site will provide to you for each image and paste it into the box that comes up when you click IMG. Thats it...

you will have to host your pictures on a seperate site. I use www.picturetrail.com for that. Just upload them from your computer, to the site. Once the picture is uploaded, you right click on it and hit properties.....once oyu do that, you copy the IMG URL its usuall www.xxxxxxx.com and then come onto this site and hit the IMG button. Once the little IMG box pops up you put your cursor on the blank line and hit PASTE. this should paste your IMG URL (the location of the specific image on the internet) and then hit ok. It sounds complicated but its a cinch.....let me know if you need clarification on any of those steps. - T

Thanks for the help. I want to post pics of my calipers when I paint them Monday. Is there a recommended picture resolution?

any site you upload to will reduce your IMG sizes anyways which will hurt your resolution. Dont worry about it, just set your camera to 800x1000 or whatever yours has and youll be fine!

Thanks again. Is this info is located somewhere on the site...and if not...should it be? I'm asking because I realize I may be the only one who doesn't know how to do this... Thanks again. I pick up my car Saturday and feel pretty excited...even for an old fart!
