How to change Shift Knob ?

Could any one please let me know if its easy to install shift knob by urself. If yeah, please elaborate on the steps.

I have never done any thing on a car except to drive it and now I want to change it myself and learn tooo

Just the knob or the whole shifter?

Turn the knob counterclockwise - that way you will take it off, then screw on the new knob clockwise. Done.

I mean just the shift knob....which u get at mcgeorge...

is it this simple just counter clockwise unscrew and clockwise with a new knob...thanx

Yup, like zoltiz said. Very simple. And he would know -- he likes to unscrew people's shift knobs while they're driving.
