I checked www.buyatoyota.com (Southeast Toyota's inventory website) a couple weeks ago, and there were approximately 500 tCs available in the southeast region. When I was looking in the summer of 2004, there were about 100 available in the entire region. I know that's not entirely reliable, but I think it's pretty clear that they're easier to get now than they were then.

In any event, I hope you don't have to wait too much longer.

My dealer estimated 2-6 weeks to get the car, but luckily the car I wanted was on a ship at the port, so it only took 1 1/2 weeks for me to get it.

i am back to a waiting list on just about everything. there are more of them now, and it has helped to knock down our waiting lists from the summer, but i am short on cars just like always.

I waited about 1 week, (felt like 1 year) I was the first in my dealer or area to get a TC, It was way back on JULY 2,2004 , i'll be coming up on my second year

Ok, so I called over there today to get an ETA on my tC and he said it's getting processed tomorrow (so the upgrades probably won't get put on until it get's up here, but oh well) but once it's processed - 3-5 days!!!

But he did say this to me:

"We have it on here that the car is SOLD to YOU so don't worry it won't go to anyone else"

music to my ears, really..

thats how a dealer is supposed to treat you. go them, and lucky you for having a dealer that rocks.

Right on! It's good to hear that. I know they have made me feel good and have always been very professional and respectful. And I know I have been bugging the crap out of them, and they have been tollerating me very well.....

I waited 1 day actually a few hours over night.. I went to the dealer 1 day spent mad hours there, looked at the car, test drove it, did some paper work then I went back the follwoing day dropped of some more paper work and drove the car home that very day.

Ofcourse it wasnt exactly the 1 I wanted I was looking to get either a white or a blue 1 but my g/f talked me into the bcp that I have now.. The dealer only had 2 in stock 1 white in auto with a 21k window sticker or the bcp in manual so I grabbed the bcp...
