Yeah, I think that it looks ugly and a waste of money...
So a tC with 3" of wheelgap is attractive, but one slammed to the ground has magically become "ugly"?
Okay...

Way toooooooooooo Low wont say it is necesaraly UGLY but i dont like it id rather see the whole tire with Tein stechs wich has no gap. Waste of MONEY YOU BETCHA it is retarted to BAG any car but what ever to each his own i guess. at least it isnt a 2000 Malibu like this guy that i see every now and then.
did you guys forget that when she is driving, the car sits at its normal level? she has controls to make it drop, but it does stay at the normal height while driving
I think it is quite neat and one of those things that will be received much like the vertical-lift door kit; some people will love/envy it, some people will hate/laugh at it, and it definitely gets attention, but only in certain cases (when the doors are opened/when the car is set to sit low). I say that this is something that isn't particularly offensive to me but I would not do it to my own car, what with handling a priority for me. I do have one question, though--doesn't her car risk damage to that low-hanging s-pipe?

Yes, many, many people believe that a tC whose suspension hasn't been demolished (i.e., "stock") is attractive, and making it look like a hoopty is not.

Oh, and I understand that it rides at "normal" height. How does that make it any less of a waste of money? All that means is that it's not the most retarded thing ever, but rather just a waste of money with no purpose. And before you say it, yes, it's a little like putting a spoiler on the tC...except that it's more like putting seven spoilers on the tC.

what if she is going to use it as a show car? how do people justify putting on wide bodykits, $4000 trunk steups, and custom paint jobs? its in the same field.

I have no idea -- how DO people justify that kinda crap?

By the way, have you ever noticed how many "show cars" there are out there? I think that all it takes to call your car a "show car" is spending money on making it look ridiculous and thinking about entering it into a show of some sort.
hey, i agree with you on that, my car will never be show material, but i just dont think its right to call someone out because they try to make their car unique.
weak. it looks....lets just use the word dumb to be polite.
Whatever happened to "personalization starts here"? She earned her money and spent it how she saw fit. She's one of only a handful of tCs on air out there, so she has some exclusivity in that regard.

So unless she opened your wallet, and took out your money to spend on her car, I think it would be a fitting idea for all of the haters to shut their pieholes. If you don't like it, you don't like it. There's no need at all to be condescending, namecalling, or just outright insulting. Go pick on the Honda people-- they're used to it.
It's not something I'd do, but I have to give her props for being among the first, making her pretty unique.
Dr. Isotope is my hero. No matter how much you think something sucks always give constructive criticism. Let's keep it positive here. We are a community and we need to treat each other as such.
not my thing at all, but she gets props for doing it in my book.
damn, i'd kill for that kinda set up. winters in NY SUCK so i can't really have my car slammed all the time. yeah i think that box for the switches is just a tad too much. i'd mount them at the switch blanks to the left of the steering wheel.

plus when you think about it, it's kinda good security. when you park your car, slam it to the floor, then no way anybody could flatbed it outta there, and w/ the electronic keys, you can't hot wire it.
