Hello guys,

Unfortunately I was recently in an accident with an '09 TC RS 5.0 and it was totaled. Unfortunately I do not have the ability to pay for a rebuild of the '09 tc and I am planning to take the transmission from it and put it in another tc from '07.

Fist off is there any difference between the 5.0 transmission and the base model 07 (or the engine)?

And is it even possible to do this or can that transmission only work with the '09 5.0 or newer tc?

I think I found the answer to if the transmission/engine was the same, but they seem to put power down differently with the rs being better. Any suggestions as to why would be great.
