Hi there,

Im new to the community...it's nice to have some new friends.
As I'm sure you have already answered these questions sometime in the past i could not find the answeres i seek. I just ordered a new scion today. I was wondering if the 2005 model was much different from the 2006. Also, I was wondering if the "stock" exhaust was chrome tipped. I noticed a picture somwhere else that showed an exhaust tip that did not look cool at all; can i get some details? And, by un-cool i mean the exhaust was not comming out at the back bumber...it was more shrugged to the side behind the passenger back tire. It would be much appreciated for the info.

The 2006 model has standard 190 HP, 30 more than the 2005 160hp model. It has TRD exhaust chrome tip. Looks ok I guess. Not sure if it's "cool" to you though.

2005 was the first year for tC, while 06 was fixed up so when the new TRD supercharger comes out, it can fit right in, while it's not possible for the 2005.

I am pulling your legs.

I think the only difference between the two are some very minor and insignificant changes, such as radio control, more colors to pick from, etc. Also, the 2006 is 200 bucks more than 2005 for no reason.

ps. congrats on the car! you'll love it! And welcome to the board
