Headlights Goin Screwy

So I put in silverstars about a year ago.. Yesterday the right one burns out.

SO i buy a new 2 pack... 30 bucks

Replace the light, and turn the car on. The left one comes one then goes out. The right one(just replaced) doesnt come on.

So i turn the lights off, then back on. Right one comes one and left one is now burned out.

WTF is happening? I dont want to put another $15 bulb in there to have it blow.

Does anyone have any experience with both bulbs going out?

lol, what luck. Should just get HID Kit. I recommend FlowLighting HID KIT. http://www.oznium.com/hid
no thanks i like being legal.
How many watts are the SilverStars?
55, just like stock.
i thought our stock wattage on our low beams were 51 watts....
Actually stock isn't 55w...I believe its 53w
Have you considered the possibility that all the electrical components you have added to your car may have created a problem of some sort?
HIDs dont make you illegal.

HIDs dont make you illegal.
Any non-OEM HID installs are technically illegal. Even a perfectly done projector retrofit.
If you are into aftermarket bulbs a lot - PIAA has great warranty and they honor it.

I personally have a set of silverstars in the tC for 16 months now and they came from my Matrix (+6 months). I guess I am not using the headlights that much
Oh, and when these burn out - stock bulbs are going in. I was stupid in the first place to pay $30 for a pair of bulbs...

True in every state I've ever checked.

I haven't seen that any where or ever herd of anything like that. I have HIDs and i don't get pulled over for having illegal lights. So whats your problem Get HIDs driving with them are actually safer. Silverstars hahaha they aren't white they are yellow. I have Silverstar High beams and HID 8000K low beams the the silverstars are yellow so i think that is sad. Also if the HID kit is DOT approved then you have nothing to worry about.
HIDs may be safer for the person using them, but they are not necessarily safe for others. Also, if your state outlaws them, it is irrelevant whether they are DOT-approved.
I didn't say you would get pulled over. i said it is technically illegal to have non-OEM HID lights in your vehicle. Would I install them in my car? Yes. Would I know they are technically illegal? Yes.
check all your fuses. the bulbs might be fine but if you crossed a wire anywhere else in the car they might just not be coming on.
they work now........ you guys are crazy.
