It all depends on what you're looking for... Most people use their Scion as a daily driver... so sticking to a header like DC Sports, Megan Racing, Alpha Werks, you're going to get a nice power gain and a good setup.

Most race headers are geared for high end power and made of different materials..

If you're looking for some headers, I would recommend the following:

No one makes a street legal header for the tC. Megan tried, but had serious issues with the cat.

Removing a working catalytic converter is a Federal offense. The OEM header contains a catalytic converter. It's illegal in all 50 states.

Doesn't make me feel good at all.... so is replacing the catalyitic converter w/ a aftermarket catalyitic converter illegal? And if so, that means that anyone with a turbo kit is violating EPA regulations. Bah. That bites. Oh well

Aftermarket cats have an exception, but legally you have to get permission from the EPA to do it, and you have to prove the original unit failed.

I don't see much of a problem:)

Actually I do and like my cars to run clean so looking at alot of alternatives and have always ran a cat with my moded cars. Even if not entirely legal I knew it was running very clean, most of the time at least.
