I've been visiting these boards for some time now. It's probably the best source of tC information I've found. If ever I was undecided about buying a tC, the info/opinions and pictures here on this site swayed me back to the light.
After a long, hard fought battle, I'm finally the proud owner of an '06 Nautical Blue 5-speed tC. I went out on a limb asking for an NB, since I'd never seen the color in person. I must say though, it paid off in the end and was well worth the fight. They should rename the color to Perfect Blue. I'm really blown away by how great the car looks. The pictures you find on the net don't do the color any justice at all.
I just brought the car home yesterday. It's pretty much a 100% stock tC. It does have the upgraded iPod stereo option, which I didn't really want, but I can live with it. =)
I had a bunch of ideas about modifications to the car, but it's so beautiful in it's current state, it may be a while before I do anything to it. Eventually I'd like to have some TRD parts installed: lowering springs, exhaust, lip spoiler. Once winter time is over, and after I've recovered from my down payment, I will probably invest in some nice new wheels and tires. I like a nice, clean-looking car, without all that ricer junk on it, so I will probably keep things simple and elegant... anything else would be an insult to the tC. =)
So... I'll stop rambling now. It's a pleasure to be a part of this community and I look forward to asking all sorts of annoying questions. And yes, I've already found the Search button!
Oh... and Merry Christmas to everyone... even Wal-Mart.
