Just thought i'd introduce myself. I'm Darren, from Dallas Tx, and I bought a Flint Mica (seems to be a popular color) Tc a few weeks ago. The dealer says it should be in before the end of the month, I can't wait!!!! Every day feels like an eternity! For the past 5 years, I've been driving my Grandpa's '87 Oldsmobile, Delta 88. Its an awesome car, the best car ever made (thats what grandpa always said, I think he's right for the most part), but its time to retire the car.
So, I ordered it stock, manual, w/ the curtain airbags. When I get it I plan on putting on the lip spoiler, and ground effects kit. In a few months I plan on putting on some rims. I want something gray or graphite to complement the flint mica color. though, I can't decide if I should stick with the 17" so I wont have to buy new tires, or go with something bigger. First thing is first though, I have to put in a SLAMMIN sound system. That's most important to me.
So, any suggestions for a new owner are much appreciated. What do you wish you would have known in the beginning? Every day is one day closer to my new car!
