Girlfriend Wants a TC

I just joined because i'm looking for info about the Vorteched Scion TC. My Girlfriend is in love with these vehicles and is looking to buy one before christmas. Now i've searched for inco about the Vortech add on but came up empty.

Is the Vortech Supercharger package available yet? If so.. How would you order it?
How do you like your TC's? Worth the Money? She's looking to get a fully loaded model.. Ground effects, 18" Wheels, cd changer.. etc etc etc. Thanks Guys

As far as I know, the supercharger's not available yet.

Welcome to the site!

The word is the supercharger's release has been pushed back to Feb '05

I love my tC & now that I got the TRD springs on, I love it that much more!

best way to go! alot of the add on accessories you can get at few places online that are wayyy cheaper than the dealerships.

i got my black cherry pearl stock with only floormats. adding on few things one at a time as time goes on.

as with the supercharger, i heard it was supposed to be out in Nov. but i guess whatever eric heard must be true. wonder why its been pushed back?

The main things she wants are the Ground effects, Spoiler and 18" Wheels. She's not that concerned with the Intake or exhaust.

She wants the Indigo Ink but i haven't seen one in that color yet.

I'm going to try and find her one for Christmas.

Scion 18s look very nice, ground effects are so-so, lip spoiler - also not for everybody. Spoilerdepot has a a classic-looking spoiler that a lot of people think looks better.

Giving a car for xmas is a good present

How much different do the TRD springs feel compared to the Stockers?

Indigo Ink is the color eric has. its a dark metallic blue. if you go check out pictures from other fellow tC owners on this forum you might see different colors in different shades of light and day/night pics as well.

I would definately go with the IIP! One of the best colors out.... it is also on the Rav-4's & Highlanders if you wanna check them out. Also... i would order the car before christmas as some of us waited between 2 weeks & 3 months on a waiting list ( that is if you want to put a big red bow on it in the driveway for christmas morning)

The springs make a huge difference! We just put 'em on on Monday, so they're still settling, but the ride is much better (obviously much much better thru turns). I took a left turn yesterday at around 35-40 to beat the light & not a peep out of the tires, it feels solid & no slipping... It also seems to help reduce any forward pitch when braking or shifting. Next up will be the rear sway bar to get rid of body roll... unfortunately strut tower bar is n/a right now as you probably read.

I didn't see IIP on a tC until I picked up my car. I decided on the color when I saw it on an xA in and out of the sun. The difference is great... nice and dark in the shade & all sorts of different shades in the light

I agree about the Indigo Ink... I walk out to my car everyday and am just amazed at how good it looks.

yeah i like the 18s alot, and i dont think the lip spoiler actually does anything, i like the new pedestal spoiler, makes it look more aggressive
