Has anyone experience this problem?

When I take my foot off the gas and leave it in gear (in any gear) the car seems to jerk a little.
Not too much to the point of stalling, but I do notice it. And its not like I'm going way to slow for that gear, never running around 2000 rpms. It reminds me when I had
my Ford Mustang 91', when I used to get vabor lock. (when the gas gets so hot, it
boils in the fuel line) Not saying this is whats happening; since its been around 60 degrees, but reminds me of that feeling.

Is it because my car is new, talking 200 miles old? Maybe bad dealer gas?

I took it to my dealer and had a tech drive it around the block. He of course said there was nothing wrong... I dont believe him, he was just trying to push me away.. (More work for him)

Any ideas?

thx.

tC's 5-speed is tricky. NO idea why is it happening - mine jerks if I'm going too fast for the gear and abruptly release the gas - but it's logical. Same in 1st / 2nd - you have to be really nice to the gas pedal, or it will jerk.

It's normal. It happens in low gears more than higher gears due to there being a large power difference between some gas and no gas in lower gears. It's also worse before the car warms up.

Nothing to worry about. Carry on.
