That's what I moved to from 17x8.5 5zigen ProRacer GN+

P.S. Almost forgot: thanks goes to Dr. Isotope for showing these to me.

I like these better than the 5zigens on your bsp. Did you weigh them?
18lbs a piece. I can live with that.

Not all scales are created equal. I was looking into making my wheels wider without gaining any weight, and that's exactly what I got - wheel/tire combo is the same as stock 17s with potenzas - about 43lbs on my shipping scale.

wooo wooo!! Of course, I love 'em.

If they were 14lbs for what they cost per wheel, they'd be backordered until 2009. As it is, you can't even find 'em anymore. I think me and zoltiz got the last 2 sets of 17x8.

That works. Now if they were only 14 lbs.....

Wasn't the 5Zigen combo about that same weight or less?
If they were 14lbs, they wouldn't be priced at $132/piece shipped...

5zigen combo was 2lbs heavier and about $170/piece more expensive.

looks nice zoltiz, for some reason i am reminded of KITT.... you just need a red light that moves back and forth and your car could be its long lost cousin

I'm confused about the weight. They weigh 43 with tires or they weigh 41 with tires? If they weigh 43 with tires, and the tires weigh 23 (according to Toyo), then the rims would be 20 lbs. Am I confused?

I have serious doubts about Toyos being actually 23lbs. I put a wheel on the scale by itself - 18lbs, then a wheel with the tire half mounted on it - 42.5lbs. Scales are even worse than dynos...

The same scale that showed 45.5 lbs for the GN+? That would make the GN+ 26 lbs? So if your GN+ and my GN+ weighed the same, then my T1S would have to weigh 17 lbs, even though Toyo claims they weigh 22.3 lbs new. This crap is all too confusing. I think you're right about scales and dynos...I need to weight the GN+ all by themselves. I wonder if there is a significant variance in their weight from unit to unit????

A-Techs - 18.5lbs
GN+ - 21.5lbs

A-Tech w/Tire - 42.5lbs
GN+ w/Tire - 45.5lbs

Proxes by themselves are 24lbs

That's my math.
