It's meant to prevent hydro lock from sucking up water. I've heard it works and I've heard it's failed to stop water from getting sucked in. I think it was more of a legal choice than anything.
Foam Disk for TRD CAI (2007 TC)
Is the foam disk on the trd cold air intake a necessary piece? There are so many intakes without this disk and I was wondering if getting rid of the disk would mess anything up or where could I buy a new one?
