Hey guys ....New to the boards here. I thought I would share some pics of the tC with her new shoes on. The springs are coming, don't worry!

those aren't the "factory" 18's, right? The ones my dealer had didn't look like that at all.

They are the 18" TRD Option. The other 18" isn't TRD, it's by Enkei (which I think looks better)

Nice Flint Mica! I will be getting one this week hopefully, I live near columbus, ohio. Where did you get that TRD decal?

Thanks guys for the props ...It's coming along.

n3ro - Yep, from Columbus.

SilverX - Correct, the rims are from TRD. They are different than the 18" enkei rims that you can get as a Scion option. I liked the Enkei's also, but not the color. Personal preference I suppose.

bapettit - The decal is just one from Ebay. Ycart1201 has some nice ones that say "SCION TRD Edition" I just received those and was going to replace the "TRD" with it, but I'm starting to like the simple logo better. I'm not a big decal fan, but I try to stay tasteful and unique.

Still waiting for the TRD exhaust, springs and leather shift knob. I'll post pics up when they get installed.

I had these TRD 18s on my Matrix. Nice wheels - everybody likes them. Made by Team Dynamics (actually it's a Team Dynamics Mirage wheel with paint that TRD chose).

Loved everything about them except three things:

1. Had to go to 4 different alignment shops before they managed to put their alignment gear on the wheels - the spokes got in the way.
2. The wheels are heavy as hell - 52lbs with rubber (30lbs+ just the rim).
3. Everybody likes them. And likes them a lot. And no wheel locks would save you.

not bad. i like the wheels but they just don't look right to me on the tC. but that's just my opinion. i don't mean to bash your car man. as long as you love they way it looks is all that matters.

TRD overcharges for the same wheels that you could get somewhere else though. they just won't say TRD in the center and stuff but you get the same exact wheels for less.
