well good thing i'm looking at rims and tires... The car infront of me nailed an entire muffler and pipe assembly and launched it at my car today. Couldnt avoid it and it ripped right through the side walls of both my passenger side tires and gouged one of my rims pretty good. Also did some underbody damage and busted some plastic underbody stuff on the car... Also the car was making a tinging noise needless to say it was towed to the local scion dealer where I'll get the goodnews on monday..

I cant make another claim on my insurance. Last year was not a good year for myself and my old car. I got rid of it because of all the bad luck and bought the Scion hoping for a change of luck. I made a video for my last car and here it is

What does a new rim cost from scion? Also are the wheels covered under any policy? I know on my old Protege5 all I had to do was pay a $25 deductible and the dealer would replace the bad tire.

I would have gone with 18s but since i just purchased all new 17" tires I couldnt afford to drop another $1200 on rims and tires. The Toyo Proxes4 sidewalls do look a little larger than the stock yokohamas, once I drop the thing though it should look nice.
