Hey, I'm gonna get a TC in about a month, basic model in Black Sand. I just have a few questions.

I know zero about cars. Dropping, mods, rims, I know the terms but have no friggin clue how to mod this car, which I obviously plan on doing when I get it.

I'm gonna 1: tint the windows and 2: Get a stereo(or just a sub, depending on how much I like the stock speakers).

But my first of many questions is this:

If I get 18's on this car do I have to automatically change the springs? I went to a site that you can buy rims that comes with the tires and they say all ya gotta do is change the tires and voila..... here's the link....

http://www.custom-wheels-car-rims.com/Whee...re_packages.cfm

and here's the link to the rims I was looking at:

http://www.custom-wheels-car-rims.com/Stor...&ShowLarge=True

I saw the picture of this black one and thought it looked pretty tight, and was the look I was going for with the rims:

So, how do you guys like this look, and for my technical question, is it possible to just buy these rims/tires and just change my tires and be done with it???

Thanks for replies....

It cost me about 250$ to drop the car. I got the springs from Ken, and it cost approx. 150$ to install them. I had a Scion gift card though...otherwise total bill would have been aprox. $300-$315. Then you need an alignment
But it makes it look better. LoL. And this is coming from someone who knew nothing about springs or dropping cars, or 18" wheels.
