Ok Ladies and gentleman, the Creative Compacts exhaust kit with magnaflow muffler and high flow cat FINALLY arrived (I ordered it 3 weeks ago tomorrow) and is on the car. Here is a teaser video I took just after the install. I'll have pics and more of a write up later.

Great clip as far as audio. Thanks. How much did it cost? Any noticeable gain? Would you say it's quieter or louder than the TRD? Sorry about all the questions, but I'm pretty curious about this.
man that exhaust sounds real nice..the first exhaust ive heard for the tC that isnt hella riced out..no fart can sound, sounds really aggressive..i like it..nice job
That sounds so nice
truely amazing, the best i have heard, great vid, and i loook forward to seeing the answers to all of the above questions
Sounds almost like mine...so sweet man I love the purrr
ohhhh baby, music to my ears. Why'd you go with a high flow cat? Plans for a turbo? Give us more info!!! Any pics of the exhaust from rear view and under the car?
Now that what I'm talkin about. If we can't have a silent exhaust for a sleeper look, this is the next best thing, as far as I can tell. I was worried about the raspyness in the beginning of the video when you were just rev'ing it, but on the road it sounds nice, not overpowering.

any Gains?
Man, I've been GIVING you guys info on this thing constantly for the last month. Nobody listens

This kit is a full exhaust from the S-pipe back. It removes the resonator and removes or replaces the cat ($93 extra for a high flow cat, but I imagine it sounds terrible without a cat) You have three options on mufflers: magnaflow (which is what I have), flowmaster, and borla. The total cost for the aluminized kit with muffler after shipping was $560. The stainless steal kit is about $100 more, but you'll have to get that if they put salt on your roads.

The dyno showed a 12hp gain, and I believe it. There is a difference, especially above 4k RPM. At idle and cruising (I should have put some of that in the video) you can't hear the exhaust, even with the radio off.

Any more questions?

That's not surprising since you have a magnaflow cat-back, and mine is s-pipe back with a magnaflow muffler.

I have TONS of pics. I probably won't even post half the pics I took of the whole installation process. I'll have more of a write up and the pics later tonight

Guys... I can answer any questions you all may have...

I have installed the Stainless Kit with High Flow Cat and Borla muffler on LvNurs9's car and it sounded GREAT.
When we built our company car, I decided to try the Flowmaster muffler with no Cat. I WARN YOU DO NOT DO THIS. It sounded like crap. I have since switched it over to the Borla Muffler without a cat but will be installing the Cat later this week. You really should have some sort of Cat on the car for some back pressure. Raspyness will also occur without the Cat.

We dynoed this exhaust and it showed a 12hp gain on the DYNO... This is not your SOUND ONLY AXLE BACK KIT ladies and gentlemen... this is the real deal. You will be lucky to get 4hp from an Axle back... Our kits are designed to produce POWER and still sound good.

FYI: Customer mentioned 3 week wait. 2 weeks of that was due to our backorder on the high flow cats then 7 days in transit all the way out to the far west coast

OK yeah see I thought I noticed some gains when I had my exhaust redone when I put on my magnalflow muffler, it may be an axle back but I had from the cat back redone, so yeah eat that you nay sayers!

I missed one of your questions. I haven't heard the TRD exhaust in person, so I can't say

Honestly though I forget that I changed the exhaust until I start accelerating. Then all of a sudden the car comes alive with a mean growl.

I missed part of your post too...

Some of the raspy noises you hear in the beginning are actually the exhaust pipe rattling on some metal #### under the car. I had to make a new exhaust hanger today to get the pipe away from that stuff so it wouldn't rattle anymore.
lets hear some new clips then with the fix eh?
