Remeber the tC uses the vvt-i head and the celica uses a vvtl-i head so the valves open longer and allow more air and fuel to enter at 5,500 rpms and up. Different type of heads altogether. We have had a forum topic before about converting the tC to a vvtl-i head but you would only be in the proper rpm's for the last 1,700 rpms before you red line and with almost a four inch stroke there's no way around that.
