Ok i think this has been discussed before...but the dropping of the RPMS is normal when you come to a stop right? Because we have that drive by wire system? It just scares me when it happens because it drops so low real quick it feels like it wants to stall but it doesnt..it just drops..then jumps up but you can feel it when it does it....really wierd!!!

I forgot to mention that i have a 5speed.

well if it's almost at zero and then bounces back up, that's the computer catching an almost stalling engine.. that is not normal..

if it's at about 500 and bounces back to 1000, then that is normal.. it's the idle air control valve kicking in to regulate the RPM's..

IF you are almost to zero when it almost dies, then i'd get it checked out at the dealer, not normal..
i have a 06 AT, and my car does this too...
I've noticed it drop to about 500 then back up to the normal 750-800 idle (AT)

No it never goes down to zero...it does what you say..drops down to about 500..for like 3 seconds or something then jumps back to normal.

well then yeah that's normal.. most cars now do that, the computer's idle air control valve is what is catching that and bumping up the rpm's.. no worries..
whooa going down to 500 isnt normall...mine goes down to about 700 lowest...
well mine is like between 5-700.. for idle.. hasn't gone below that..
mine has never been dropped and it's '04
