Does the valet key work with the Scion security?

I am thinking about getting the factory alarm, but I am not sure whether the valet key is able to work with it? Does anyone know?

it has no buttons.. but when you lock or unlock your door with the valet key.. the alarm will arm and disarm accordingly

I have an aftermarket alarm that works with my factory key. If i give the Valet key to anyone it will also unlock the doors and turn the alarm off/on.
