Yep; it has no automatic setting where it just turns on when the hatch opens; it's only on or off and it's on the left side. ~1"x~2.5" clear rectangular lens with integrated white, two-position toggle switch.

Thanks guys! I can't believe I didn't spot it all this time. Is there any way you can wire it so that it comes on when the hatch opens. (or maybe in sync with the dome light)
One mode is always off, the second mode is on when hatch/doors open. There is no always on mode.
