how do you switch it from xA and xB. i tried to find it on my stereo but i couldnt find it. i only found the hear/neautral/feel, and the asl but nothing about the xB, so how do you switch it?

well.. hold the ssp button down for like 5-10 seconds.. it will then say car type.. then you can use the volume control to select the model of car.. it's in your car stereo manual.. then push ssp to select..

I switched mine last week. WOW. What a difference. I can actually hear my music now, in a better effect.

xA setting, SRT on, Hear. Sound is very clean. The tC sound sounded like it was playing through tin. Someone said it best, they're trying to sell more woofers

yeah i wonder about that subwoofer claim too.. so the xA and xB don't have an option for a subwoofer?

And the SRT (sound re-touch function).. only works for MP3's.. not trying to be mean but you know that right?

When i had my stock HU, i actually switched around from tC, Hear, with bass at like +2, to xB, Feel with bass on -2, IIRC.

But an aftermarket is much better...and the stock HU preset EQing is horrible......But 1/2 way decent with the stock Speakers....try the stock HU with aftermarket speakers and you'll notice how bad the HU really is, and vise versa with the stock speakers.

How do you set the SSP? Mine is on neutral, and it sucks. And i dont have my manual in the car, lol. I just set it to xB though and that's alot better!

You Can OFFICIALY call me RETARDED!! I've been listenting to my stereo on "tC-Nuetral". No WONDER it sounded so damn horrible!!!! It's on xA-Feel with bass at 1 and trebble at 4. omfg! Now that's more like it!!!

Agreed the stock head unit doesnt allow the stock speakers to show their full potential.

No one ever showed me the in's/out's (like my dealer maybe? lol) with the radio. I just assumed it was garbage. But holy crap. For stock, it's awesome!
