Alright So I see this add on myspace for "pimpin your ride" So I thought oh wait I need to pimp my old car ,1993 mazda protoge, so it will sell better So I fillout hte application and do all taht good stuff and then after I hit submit I realize that they are not affiliated with MTV or anyhting liek that. So I go to redo my application so I could get my tC sponsored and get some free goodies and what not. The thing is they charge $89 bucks for some reason . So I e-mailed them saying like I don't understand why I need to pay 89 dollars and not gaurentee a sponsorship. So the guy e-mails me back saying oh I read your application and I like it, just fill this one out again and put a dummy credit card number starting with a z. So I did and he e-mails me back:

I also wanted to tell you that we currently do not have any sponsors that work with horsepower upgrades. Everything else, from body kits to window tinting, we do have a company for. Right now I have you down for at least 1 full sponsorship, and 1 quasi sponsorship. Let me explain the difference between the two.

Full - This is where a company will provide you with products, no expense to you.
Quasi - This is where a company turns you down, and we work to get you back in. They provide you with a discounted price on their products.

In both cases you get the benefit of being sponsored and getting the hottest products sometimes before they hit the market.
Shipping and Installation will always be at your cost, unless otherwise noted by one of our partners.

Anyway I e-mailed him back saying like what is the 89 bucks for and he hasn't responded yet so I'll update you guys on that later.

Anyway I just wanted to know if you guys think this is fake or what? There is no engine or performance sponsors its mainly audio and styling. but yeah It would be nice to have if it is free. What do you guys think? My mom thinks its a scam and I'm leaning towards it is also but I want more opinions! Thanks guys.

Here I'll show you guys what he said. in the e-mail instructing me to use a fake credit card number. He hasn't responded to me telling him im'm not paying wihtout a godo cause yet either.

Do not worry about the credit card information if you do not have one. Fill in "dummy"(start the Credit Card number with "z") credit card information. When you hit submit, it will probably say declined or invalid, don't worry about that the application DID GO THROUGH. Send me an e-mail once you have done so. This way I will be able to see you application directly and personally review it. I will then get back with you, since you have been pre approved, if you do put valid card information in, you will be charged. I have set you up for automatic approval in that system. You must e-mail me back once you have filled that in so I know I got it correctly.
