I don't know if anyone has experenced this, i was driving down the road, and stopped at a stoplight today, light turns green, and as I lift my foot off of the clutch to ease into first, the clutch stays stuck down near the floor. I pumped it a few times, but it wouldn't come back up, I only got it working by getting the toe of my shoe underneath the pedal and lift it up. It worked fine after that, but this worries me. The last time I had this happen was in my 96 eclipse a few years ago, and when it happened it was because the slave cylinder for the clutch assembly blew.

Something to worry about?

Take it in, tell the service advisor what happened, get it fixed. It should never do that. There are a few reasons why it might, but it shouldn't ever do it if the system is working right and has no leaks.
