You guys think it would be possible for me to flip a DC Header for a Injen Intake without paying too much out of pocket, if at all? i have the oppurtunity to get the header for 100. but i dont want to put it on being that my TRD exhaust will sound like sh!t and headers illegal. soooo i wanna sell it for my intake. header is in perfect condition. but it IS used. i want the Full Injen intake, and call me anal, but i want the license plate cover that comes with it.

Also would u say that the black injen CAI is more supseptable to heatsoak than the blingy injen CAI.

i didnt know where to post cuz this is kinda random

No, it's technical and would you believe we have a section just for that! Wait, it gets better. We have a section for parts just like this. Holy Cow!
I have the "blingy" Injen, works just fine. Black/Chrome, whatever, heatsoak is not that big of a problem, as has been discussed exhaustively. The air inside is moving into your engine 90% of the time at a rate way to high to be effected more than a minute degree or so.

Chrome does get fingerprinty though, and carefull on the install, getting it through the hole above the fender/wheelwell is a pain, I scratched mine to sh*t trying to force it. (I didn't take the wheel off, just the bumper.)
crap, ok i had to edit cuz my prior post wasnt clear after re-reading. its edited now but its more towards if yall think i can flip the header for a good price, enuf to get the intake. crap.

sorry Jake, but hey at least i searched....can i get a break=P
